The successful global property swapping network in the UK has taken on a new identity – F R E E G L E.

The majority of Freecycle UK groups have migrated across to the new network. The local Warrington group with nearly 6,000 members is one using the new banner.

The new network with the slogan “Don’t throw it away – give it away” uses the same principles as before where you join your local group, advertise what you want to give away or what you are looking for and then wait for someone to contact you.

The popularity of the service has been phenomenal with stories of people furnishing entire homes to a high standard based on items they have picked up for free.
