New Year New Lymm event a huge success!

January 31st, 2010 | ZoeCohen
Many thanks to all of those who attended, and helped at, the New Year New Lymm LCL event on Saturday 23rd January. Thank you for helping to make it such as a success. The feedback from both stall holders and attendees was very positive. A summary of the results of the feedback forms will be shared at the next LCL meeting – there were some great comments e.g.
- “very impressive – informative and interesting – should inspire a lot of ideas to put into practice”
- “varied, friendly, interesting, informative, interactive”
Judging by the numbers of newsletters handed out and other indicators, we estimate that over 150 people attended the event. We signed-up 26 new members for LCL taking our total up to 113.
And we raised much needed funds for LCL as we are a not for profit local group. In addition over 40 local people made a carbon reduction pledge for 2010 – from waste to transport and other lifestyle changes – read their pledges here Copy of pledges from 23rd Jan 2010 event anonymous

If you are reading this and attended the event and are thinking of joining LCL, or have some feedback for us regarding the event – then please do visit our contact form here and get in touch.

Our next meeting is on Monday 22 February, Oughtrington Community Centre, 7.30pm.
